Replacement Products
Albuquerque Fire Department officials asked retailers what they replaced the empty tobacco shelves or racks with. The most common answers were candy and gum.

Inconvenience Evaluation
As a final question, Albuquerque Fire Department officials asked the retailers to evaluate the burden placed on clerks due to the new ordinance. Nearly three-fourths answered that the Tobacco Product Ordinance was "no inconvenience" at all. The illustration below highlights the spectrum of responses.
